The Lady Bucks went up against some of the state's elite teams this past weekend in Abilene.
With teams like defending Class 3A state champion Abilene Wylie and other 3A,4A, and 5A schools competing, the Breckenridge Lady Bucks were able to come home with third place in the consolation bracket.
Lady Bucks' head coach Victoria Dudgeon said that overall the tournament was a good chance to compete against tough competition.
“This weekend was great for us,” said Dudgeon. “This is the first time we have played this level of competition and I think the kids learned a lot.”
