Coach Freeman said a strong first half helped the team have momentum that carried over to the second half.
“We understand what we created in the first half,” said Freeman. “We created some advantages for ourselves. Our defense had a good stop on a goaline stand in the third quarter. We were able to be hot in the throwing game and in the running game. We went from a power game to a spread game. That's where we want to be.”
