Breckenridge - Nancy Beth Clary, 77, died Thursday, Sept, 5, 2013 surrounded by her family.
A graveside service with Charles Kuhn and Otho Noggle officiating will be held at 9 a.m. today, Sept. 7, in the Harpersville Cemetery, under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Nancy Beth Roberson was born on July 1, 1936, in Breckenridge to C.D. Roberson and Nellie Edna “Nell” Munnerlyn Roberson.
She married Cyrus Wayne Clary on May 15, 1954, in Eastland, and he preceded her in death on Jan, 23, 2013.
Nancy was the Stephens County Treasurer for 30 years until her retirement in 2004.
She was a charter member of the Breckenridge Lady Elks and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Bud Clary and wife Jann of Breckenridge; daughter, Darlene Hurford and husband, Kim of Breckenridge; grandchildren: Corey Clary of Breckenridge, Bonnie Hurford of Fort Worth, Jack Hurford of Breckenridge and Tia Richards and Christy McCann, both of Abilene; four great-grandchildren; and special cousins: Nedra Riley and Sandy Williams, both of Breckenridge.
Memorial donations in Nancy's honor can be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 16, Breckenridge, TX 76424.
