Heading into Friday's match up against the state-ranked Graham Steers, the Breckenridge Buckaroos knew they had their work cut of for them in attempting to knock off the Steers.
The Bucks came up short in that attempt falling 44-0.
Despite the loss, Buckaroo Head Coach Steve Freeman was proud of how hard the team played and the overall effort.
“We played extremely hard tonight,” said Freeman. “We played from behind pretty early on. I am still proud of the kids because of how hard they played.”
“We made some big stops defensively and gave up some big easy plays as well,” said Freeman. “They kept on working and working and our defense would get us a break.”
