The Breckenridge ex-students were given a special treat Friday night in the Buckaroos game against the Clyde Bulldogs. The game featured two evenly-matched teams and was a defensive battle from start to finish.
Despite a late touchdown by Breckenridge, the Buckaroos were unable to come out with the win as they were defeated 7-6 by the Clyde Bulldogs.
The Buckaroos never gave up from start to finish and that was something that stood out to Head Coach Steve Freeman.
“We played hard from beginning to end,” said Freeman. “That has been our objective from the start. Our defense was phenomenal tonight and played a really great ball game tonight.”
“I felt like through our conversations and meetings today that the kids were relaxed, but it was a good relaxed. A play hard relaxed,” said Freeman.
