If you were looking for an action-packed volleyball match that featured two of District 7-2A's top teams, then the place to be Tuesday night was in Breckenridge.
The Lady Buckaroos came away with the win over the Dublin Lady Lions in four sets, 20-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-17 and are now in the pole position of the district as the team prepares for the second half of the district schedule that will start on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Head Coach Victoria Dudgeon was excited to get the win and proud of how the Lady Bucks played despite losing the first set.
“We came out a little slow and I think we were trying to over do it a little, but once we settled in we got to our game,” said Dudgeon. “The first set we were trying to play their (Dublin) game of tip and roll and that is not who we are. We are a heavy hitting team.”
