This also means that all those interested in becoming Junior FFA members need to come to the agriculture building and see Tiffany Holland or Justin Hopkins.
All members will need to fill out a membership form and pay their Junior FFA dues, which cost $20.
We have been asked about if students can be in both Junior FFA and 4-H — and the answer is YES.
Both organizations offer students amazing opportunities and we highly encourage students to participate in both 4-H and Junior FFA.
Membership in the Texas Junior FFA is open to students in grades where agricultural science courses are not offered.
Junior FFA members must be at least eight years-old and in the third grade.
If you have any questions regarding membership and eligibility please read the Junior FFA Policy on the Texas FFA website at http://www.texasffa.org/page.aspx?ID=180.
For more information, please call the Breckenridge ISD agriculture building at 254-559-1268.
We look forward to meeting all of our Junior FFA Members and their families very soon!
