A major project to rehabilitate Hubbard Creek Bridge on FM 601, east of Albany, will begin the week of Jan. 20.
The bridge will be closed throughout the project and drivers will need to follow the designated detour along SH 6 and FM 576.
Much of the work will take place under the bridge and drivers must not drive around the barricades for their own safety and the safety of the workers.
Gibson and Associates of Balch Springs will complete the project for about $545,000.
Work is expected to be completed by June.
