The Alzheimer's Association – North Central Texas Chapter will present a free educational workshop from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the Breckenridge Library, located at 209 North Breckenridge Avenue, in Breckenridge. Seating is limited.
The program is titled “The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.” Perhaps you have noticed possible signs of Alzheimer's disease in yourself or someone you love. Or, maybe you know someone who has been recently diagnosed.
This workshop is intended for anyone who would like to learn more about the disease and related dementias, as well as resources available to those living with the diagnosis.   
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's research, care and support. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
