The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center hosted a Christmas fundraiser that included a Las Vegas style dinner and dance show with more than 100 people in attendance and was headlined by Elvis impersonator Kraig Parker from Dallas.
The “Christmas with Elvis” event was made possible by numerous donations and underwriters who made the event possible.
Doors opened at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 6:45. The “Elvis” first set began at 7 p.m. followed by a live auction with auctioneer Chuck Dollins at 8 p.m. Parker's next set of “Elvis” was at 8:30 p.m., followed by the drawing of raffle tickets.
Parker remained after his final performance to autograph scarves that he had given out to several lucky ladies in the audience.
The raffle items were provided by Barbara Thornton, Fort Griffin Merchandise Restaurant, Susan and Darrell Shortes, Wild West Outfitters, Inn on Baron's Creek in Fredericksburg, Portfolio in Fort Worth, Family Eye Care, Julie Reaugh, Main Street Floral, RRH Boutique, Ray's Grocery and Market, Friends of Historic Breckenridge, Dallas Symphony Association and Lone Star Laundry.
The BFAC appreciates everyone who came out to the fundraiser and commends all the hard work of the BFAC Board members to provide the food and raffle items that helped make the evening so enjoyable and a highly successful fundraiser for the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center..
