The Breckenridge Coffee Club met recently for their informal game night at the Breckenridge Housing Authority at the community meeting room, located at 911 N. Payne.
The Coffee Club meets every Monday night at 6 p.m. for games, snacks and fellowship.
At this particular meeting, there were nine people present that included Rosie Dill, Rosalie Schaffer, Linda Jeffries, Midge McCullough, Faye McCullough, Tommy Bird, Donnie Bird, Christi Lancaster and Rudy Newcomb.
At the first table for a game of Hand-and-Foot, were T. Bird, Lancaster, D. Bird and F. McCullough. The winners of that first game were T. Bird and McCullough, who kept score. The second game of Hand-and-Foot was won by T. Bird and Lancaster, with McCullough keeping score.
At the second table of Hand-and-Foot were Dill, Schaffer, Jeffries and M. McCullough, with Schaffer and Dill winning the game and Dill kept score. The second game at that table was won by Dill and Newcomb, with Dill keeping score.
The following Monday, March 10, also had the same nine people gathered for games, snacks and fellowship.
At the first table of Hand-and-Foot were M.McCullough, Newcomb, T. Bird and D. Bird, with McCullough and Newcomb winning the game and Newcomb kept score. In the second game at that table, the Bird duo won the game and Newcomb kept the score.
At the second table that night, were Schaffer, Dill, F. McCullough and Lancaster with Dill and Lancaster won both games and Dill kept score.
The people who attend the Monday night games have expressed and interest to have Chicken-Foot players return or some domino players. They would like to play some different games and hope new people will come out on Monday nights at 6 p.m.
For the third week in a row, the same players attended the Monday night fellowship and game night. At the first table, for a game of Hand-and-Foot, were Jeffries, M. McCullough, Lancaster and T. Bird. M. McCullough and T. Bird won both games, with McCullough keeping score.
At the second table of Hand-and-Foot, were Dill, Schaffer, D. Bird and F. McCullough. The combination of Dill and Schaffer won the first game and for the second game, Dill teamed-up with Newcomb to win, with Dill keeping score for both games.
