Open Door of Breckenridge, business, local churches, and restaurants will be working together as the 2021 Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser begins.

Breckenridge ISD will join 1,024 school districts throughout Texas to celebrate January as School Board Recognition Month, Superintendent Bryan Allen announced January 6.
Feb. 1 - Cemetery personnel will begin cleaning the cemetery. This is a semi-annual procedure to clean the cemetery in preparation for the grass and flower season. New rules are now in place. For more information contact the cemeterian at 559-2075 or the City office at 559-8287.
Aaryn Medina received three Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors for the 2020 basketball season, including District 7 AAA offensive, Big Country Prep Offensive, and All-Big Country 3A. Surrounded by friends, family, and coaches, the student/ athlete chose to play basketball at the Howard Payne University.

Wallace Insurance Agency hosted the Christmas Gift Drive. Working with East Elementary, Nancy-Smith Elementary, and the Angel Tree, the schools will serve as the “Toys for Tots” drop off locations.
The Breckenridge Woman’s Forum met Tuesday, Dec. 15 for an early Christmas program presented by ‘The Piano Man,’ Henry Lee, with holiday favorites on the agenda and some Christmas carols sung by the members. He played most of the music on the guitar, which is his favorite instrument. The Forum members gathered at 9:30 a.m. to participate in their favorite card games of Bridge and Liverpool Rummy. The high score for Bridge was won by Jean Edwards and the low score for Liverpool Rummy was won by Linda Burdic.
