Breckenridge election day scheduled for May 8

The Election Day for the city of Breckenridge offices is Saturday, May 8. Candidates filing for places in the Breckenridge City Election officially starts Saturday, Feb. 6, so Monday, Feb. 8, will be the first available date for filing and will continue until 5 p.m. March 8. Places up for election include Mayor and City Commission, Place 1 and City Commission, Place 2. The positions are currently filled by Jimmy McKay, Mayor; Stanley N.
