The Breckenridge Independent School District Trustee Election will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 11, for three places on the Breckenridge Independent School District Board of Trustees.
Up for election will be Place No. 3, currently held by Bryan Woodward; Place No. 4, currently held by Bryan K. Wood; and Place No. 5, currently held by Julie Erb.
Curry Browning and Carey Woodward have each filed to run for the Place No. 3 seat while Bryan Woodward did not file for reelection.
Erb has filed for reelection to Place No. 5 and will be opposed by Randy Boaz.
Wood has filed for re-election to Place No. 4, and James Marrs filed to oppose Wood in the May 11 election.
Election Day for the city of Breckenridge offices will be Saturday, May 11.
Places up for Breckenridge City election in 2013 are City Commission - Place 3 and Place 4.
Scott Carter was appointed to Place No. 4 following the resignation of Graham Reaugh, who moved his residence out of the city limits.
David Wimberley is the lone candidate for Place No. 3 after commissioner Harvey Green, who did not file for re-election, tendered his resignation from the commission at the March 4 regular meeting.
