Two males and a female were arrested on Nov. 27 in connection to a drug raid at America's Best Value Inn in Breckenridge.
Joshua Whiteley, age 35, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to Distribute and a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Whiteley was also arrested on a warrant out of Nueces County for non-payment of child support.
The Breckenridge Police Department, along with the FBI, task forces out of Mitchell and Nolan County and the Stephens County Sheriff's Department obtained information that a wanted subject, Whiteley, was staying at the America's Best Value Inn, 3111 W. Walker, in Breckenridge.
Authorities also learned that Whiteley was a convicted felon and may be in possession of a firearm, along with a controlled substance.
After a search warrant was obtained, officers entered the room and found Whitely hiding under the bed.
In other rooms rented to Whitely, officers found several assault rifles and a pistol and a sizeable amount of Methamphetamine.
During the raid, authorities arrested Nicholas Leyse, age 34, and Samantha Massengill, age 33, for hindering apprehension.
The pair were arrested for not disclosing to officers that Whitely was hiding in the room after being questioned.
Breckenridge Police Department Chief Larry Mahan said the case remains under investigation.
