With great entertainers, fantastic sponsors and wonderful donors, this year's 44th annual West Texas Rehabilitation Center's telethon promises to be the best ever. Among the talented entertainers taking the stage on Jan. 18 will be fast-rising country music artist Morgan Frazier, originally from Breckenridge.
Suddenlink Communications has once again stepped forward and is the official sponsor of the 5 hour long live show.
Frazier's biography reads “At a time when country music is experiencing a virtual drought when it comes to women's voices on the radio, Morgan Frazier has arrived.
It's a confident statement, but the Breckenridge native is truly a breath of fresh air for the format.

While other female newcomers are positioning themselves as the next Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood or Taylor Swift, Morgan is simply being Morgan.”
Charlie Chase, longtime co-host of the popular “Crook and Chase” talk show on the Nashville Network will return to anchor the Rehab 2014 host desk for the five-hour special.
Texas legend Red Steagall will be back along with The Boys in the Bunkhouse for the show. Other regulars lined up to appear are Bill and Susan Hayes (Days of Our Lives), Brad Maule (General Hospital) and Twyla Foreman.
Television stations in Abilene, San Angelo, Austin, Corpus Christi, Laredo, Midland/Odessa, Lubbock, Amarillo, Waco/Temple and Wichita Falls/Lawton, Okla. carry the show live. The show will again be streaming live at WestTexasRehab.org and Bigcountryhomepage.com.
