Former Breckenridge and current Eastland resident Gary Foster had a stroke in the early morning hours on Sunday, Nov. 10. He was air lifted to Fort Worth and it was determined that the stroke had left him paralyzed on his left side and loss of sight in his left eye. After a week in recovery, he was transported to Abilene where he underwent stabilization therapy and rehabilitation therapy.
Gary has now been released to his home back in Eastland and has regained limited use of his sight and left arm. His diagnosis is that he has a long road of recovery but has personally committed to the fight to recover. His belief in the power of prayer has given him the will to fight through this recovery period.  He is asking all to pray for his recovery.
A special account has been set up for Gary Foster at First Financial Bank in Eastland to aid him while he endures this long recovery period. Gary, his family and friends thank all that has aided him thus far and ask that you continually keep him in your prayers.
