The Texas Department of Transportation will begin a project the week of March 10 to replace three bridges in Eastland and Stephens Counties.
The structures that will be replaced are at the following locations:
· CR 107 at Cottonwood Creek, Eastland County
· CR 187 at Hog Branch, Stephens County
· Elm Street in Breckenridge, Stephens County
Detours will be required for the bridge projects in Stephens County. The bridge on CR 107 in Eastland County will be constructed first. Drivers should follow all directional and warning signs and be cautious when driving through work areas.
Hodges and Son Construction of Omaha, Texas was contracted to complete the $714,000 project. The work is expected to take about nine months to complete.
