The Mothers of Buckaroos (MOB) are now recruiting Young Bucks for the upcoming 2010 football season.
Young Bucks is a program that will pair a member of the Buckaroos with a young boy to help instill Buckaroo pride and tradition. Various activities for the Young Bucks will be planned throughout the football season, including lunch with their varsity Buckaroo.
The Young Bucks program will be utilized to build a bond with the Buckaroos that goes beyond Friday nights. The purpose of the program is to link the Buckaroos not only with a Young Buck but to the entire Breckenridge community. Registration is open on a first come basis for boys who will be entering grades 4-6. The deadline for registration is Aug. 14. The registration cost is $25. Registration forms are available at First National Bank, Citizens National Bank and the Breckenridge American. Young Bucks will receive a T-shirt with their Buckaroo’s jersey number. A time for each Young Buck to meet with the Buckaroos is also being planned and will be announced at a later date.
