Kenneth Monroe Mitchell, 73, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth.
A memorial service was held at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth and a graveside service was held Tuesday, Dec. 24 at the Caddo Cemetery.
Kenneth was born Oct. 16, 1940, in Breckenridge to E.E. Mitchell and Ruth Copeland Mitchell.
He graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1958 and attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. He was a partner in Millchell Estate Sales Incorporated and was an avid antique collector.
He was a member of Edgepark Methodist Church in Fort Worth.
He is survived by his lifetime partner Gary Miller of Fort Worth; one brother, Charles and wife Jane of Caddo; two nephews: Shawn and wife Terra of Fort Worth and Silas and wife Halee of Olden; one great-nephew, Cord; and two great-nieces: Camry and Sylee; two cousins: Mike and wife Lyn Copeland and Lynn and Sherry Duggan of Breckenridge.
He will be missed by a host of friends and his loving poodle “Panda.” He was preceded in death by his parents.
