Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 7, at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Don Bearden officiating.
nterment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 6, at Morehart Mortuary.
Raymundo Ledesma Nava was born Jan. 24, 1946 in Strawn, to parents Santiago and Teresa Nava.
He married Virgina Caballero in Eastland on April 14, 1978. Raymundo worked at B&E Dairy as a rancher for 14 years.
He spent his free time running the house and making jewelry boxes. He also enjoyed fishing, and making tamales.
Raymundo loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers: Tommy Nava, Fred Jimenez, Felix Santos; two sisters: Inez De La Cruz and Pascuala “Paz” Jimenez.
Raymundo is survived by his children: Maxine Houdek and husband Danny Kersey, Raymond Nava and wife Laura and Doris Nava, all of Breckenridge; two brothers: Isabel Jimenez Sr. and wife Hope of Breckenridge, Matilde Daniel Nava and wife Ellen of Strawn; three sisters: Rita Alvarado of Michigan, Zenon Nava of Breckenridge, and Virginia Sauceda and husband Manuel of Olden; 14 grandchildren: Maria Gregg and husband Dylan, Juan Mendoza, Luis Marentes, Marisela Marentes, Teresa Houdek, all of Breckenridge, Mackayla Kersey, of Albany, Bethany Kersey, Hannah Kersey, Franciona Kersey, all of Littlefield, Raymundo Nava III, Maria Isabel Nava, Santiago E.
Nava, Anabel Virginia Nava, Journei E. Nava, all of Breckenridge; one great-grandchild, Chandler Dean Gregg of Breckenridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
