Kellie Hay, age 47 of Throckmorton, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 14th at Necessity Baptist Church with Rev. Charles West and Rev. Peter Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the Necessity Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Morehart Mortuary.
 
Kellie Alaina Morris was born December 20, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio to parents, Larry F. Morris and Helen Herwick Morris. She married Bruce Hay in Wichita Falls on July 25, 1998. Growing up, Kellie was baptized at the Avalon Methodist Church in Bremen, Ohio. She was involved with 4-H and the Holliday High School FFA. Kellie worked as Sgt. of Correctional Officers at the Walker Sayle Unit. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry F. Morris.
 
Mrs. Hay is survived by her husband, Bruce Hay of Throckmorton; three children, Matthew Vaerewyck, Brittany Arlene Hay, Johnathin Hay; her mother, Helen Morris; five brothers, Terry Torbert, Danny Torbert, Don Torbert, Bruce Torbert, Kenneth Wolfe; two granddaughters; numerous aunts, uncles and many cousins.
