John Crow, age 77 of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 19, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Leo Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., today, June 18, at Morehart Mortuary.
John Allen Crow was born March 25, 1937 in Kirby, Ark. to parents, Amos Crow and Veda McKinnon Crow. Mr. Crow moved to Breckenridge from Dallas in 1985 and married Jackie Ensey. John was self-employed as a transmission mechanic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and fellowshipping with the coffee club. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Caron Crow; three sisters; and four brothers.
Mr. Crow is survived by his wife, Jackie Ensey Crow of Breckenridge; three daughters: Kelli Stalnecker and husband Tim of Gun Barrel City, Kristi Browning and husband Tony of Mabank, and Shelli Crow of Athens; two sons: Scott Ensey and wife Vicky of Breckenridge, and Brent Ensey and wife Terry of Fort Worth; 15 grandchildren: Jason Crow, Tray Irwin, Adam Crow, Kevin Ensey, Jonathan Ensey, Jamison Ensey, Jacob Ensey, Cassie Lawrence, Crissy Linder, Amy Janway, Marci White, Brittany Keith, Cindy O'Quain, Britney McPherson and Keri Berkley; his mother-in-law, Glenda Walker; sisters-in-law, Senie Fogarty and husband Charlie and Sharvella Warner and husband David; and 21 great-grandchildren with two more on the way.
