The first quarter set the tone for the Lady Bucks 50-33 loss to Clyde on Tuesday.
Breckenridge fell behind 16-6 after the opening period and the Lady Bulldogs maintained that same 10-point margin through the second and third quarters.
The Lady Bucks trailed 24-14 at the half and 34-24 headline into the fourth quarter.
Breckenridge cut the lead to six points in the second period after sophomore post Heidi O'Dell knocked down two free throws to make it 20-14.
Clyde went on a 8-0 run midway through the third quarter to expand the gap to 34-16.
The Lady Bucks made four straight buckets to end the quarter with the momentum while cutting the deficit back to 10 points.
Junior Hanna Singleton along with freshmen Alexa Medina, Maci Patterson and Madison Hatchett each scored during the run.
Breckenridge junior post Megan Herrington hit a basket to bring the lead down to 39-30 with four minutes remaining.
The Lady Bulldogs closed out the game with an 11-3 run.
"The girls played very hard tonight," Lady Bucks coach Ky Graham said. "We got behind by 18 in the second half and were able to cut it to nine. We got plenty of good shots, we just have to knock them down."
Junior Landre Griffin paced the Lady Bucks offense with nine points.
Singleton contributed seven points while Patterson added six.
O'Dell and Hatchett each chipped in with four points.
Medina tallied three points while Herrington finished with two points.
Herrington and Singleton each grabbed four rebounds to lead the team.
Sophomore Nocona Swindell and Medina collected three rebounds apiece. Patterson and Griffin each had one rebound.
Singleton and O'Dell swiped two steals apiece to lead the defense.
Medina, Patterson and Hatchett each had one steal.
The Lady Bucks (11-19, 3-9) finish the season on the road at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, against Hawley.
