The Breckenridge Lady Buckaroo JV teams competed against Jim Ned Friday afternoon.
The JV Green team defeated Jim Ned in two games, 25-16, 25-21.
“The girls played really well against the team from Jim Ned,” said coach Jeana Yarbrough. “We have been practicing on serving to spots and we hit our spots well today.”
“We still need to work on our free ball passing so  that we can take our offense to a higher level, but overall the girls are working hard and I am proud of them,” said Yarbrough.
Macy Patterson led the way for the Lady Bucks with four aces and three kills.
Courtney Spoon and Eline Bandy each had one ace and one kill, while Arin Knight, Karina Cruz, and Shelby Lipps all had one kill each.
The JV White also won on Friday in a 25-11, 24-26, 25-12 decision.
Kailtyn Ellis led the team with eight kills and four aces, while Lauren Satterwhite had four aces and Mary Arreola had four assists.
“This was a really great team effort all around,” said JV White coach Ky Graham. “I believe the kids are really starting to get it. Hopefully we can take this momentum to the next level.”
The teams played in Graham on Tuesday and will travel to Petrolia on Saturday.
