“Game two was better, but it can be hard to come back when you have lost so much momentum,” said Yarbrough.

Yarbrough said that the team was able to re-group and have a better match despite what the final score showed.
“The girls really re-grouped after the loss to Sweetwater and got it together in game one,” said Yarbough. “We had excellent serving by Karina Cruz to lead us to win game two.
“I was proud of the effort of the whole team. This group really works well together,” said Yarbrough. “Graham is a very talented team. We just had a few mental mistakes that ended up costing us the win.
The JV White team lost to Sweetwater 17-25, 9-25 and to Graham 22-25, 12-25.
“We had our moments,” said JV White coach Ky Graham. “Sweetwater is a very tough team, but it is good to play tough teams. They will test you and show you what you need to work on.”
“I believe these girls will respond better against tough competition the next chance we get.”
