Heading into District 7-2A play, the Lady Buckaroos had one goal in mind -win district. The Breckenridge Lady Buckaroos are now another step closer to a district championship after sweeping Hawley 25-15, 25-12, 25-17 Tuesday. With the end of district play inching closer and closer, the Lady Buckaroos are peaking defensively at the right time and that is something that Head Coach Victoria Dudgeon was proud of following the Hawley match. “Defensively, we are doing a better job of seeing our hitters and reading,” said Dudgeon. “I think we did a great job of that Tuesday. It takes a lot of discipline, but our kids have really bought into it and did a great job. When we are working defensively and passing wise, then our offense flows better.”
