Heading into Friday night's showdown against the Dublin Lady Lions, the Lady Buckaroos knew a district championship could be on the line.
The Lady Bucks came out with the win in four sets by defeating Dublin 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-15.
To beat a team like Dublin, the Lady Bucks had to have a great all around team effort and that was something Head Coach Victoria Dudgeon was proud of.
“I am very proud of the girls for getting this win,” said Dudgeon. “It was an entire team effort tonight.”
“We weren't on our best game, but I told the girls sometimes it's the smartest team that wins and we just needed to play smart,” said Dudgeon. “Everyone had to find something to do better to step up and pick up where a teammate was struggling.”
