With the win the Lady Bucks improved to 5-2 and are two games behind district-leading Cisco, whom the Lady Bucks faced Tuesday evening.
“Our defense was good throughout the ball game,” said Lady Bucks head coach Ky Graham. “It was a big emphasis this week and the girls did a great job of defending their players.”
“It was also good to get back to running the floor like we know we need to do,” said Graham. “All in all, it was a great road win.”
The Lady Bucks held a 16-7 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
Hanna Singleton scored seven points in the first quarter to help pace the Lady Bucks.
With a balanced attack that saw four different Lady Bucks players score in the second quarter, Breckenridge added 11 points and held Hawley to five points to lead 27-12 at halftime.
