The Lady Buckaroos traveled to Dublin Friday night and returned with a 52-34 win over the Lady Lions.
The win improved the Lady Bucks to 9-3 in District 7-2A play one game behind Clyde who is 10-3.
Clyde played at Comanche Tuesday night and if Clyde were to lose in that game, the Lady Bucks would be tied for second in the district standings.
The Lady Bucks will play in the Bi-District round of the playoffs against the number two seed from District 8-2A. Time, date and place are TBA.
Fridays’ game featured an all around team effort that saw each Lady Buckaroo player score. Lady Buckaroo head coach Ky Graham was proud of the way the Lady Buck bench players contributed to the win.

“It was another great team road win,” said Graham. “I am proud of how well the girls coming off the bench were able to contribute quality minutes to our team. I was also very proud of the defensive effort the girls had.”
“We played well as a team and everyone scored,” said Graham. “The leading scorer had nine points and we scored 52 total. That is pretty good team balance.”
With the score tied 6-6 at the 1:40 mark of the first quarter, the Lady Bucks finished the period with a 4-0 run, including a buzzer-beater by Heidi O’Dell, to lead 10-6.
