The Breckenridge Buckaroos were defeated by the Cisco Loboes 12-2, Tuesday in their District 7-2A opener.
The Buckaroos had a 1-0 lead at the end of the first inning.
Quinton Ellis reached first on a walk and a sacrifice bunt by Cruz Martinez advanced Ellis to second base.
Elli McLane hit an RBI double to center field to score Ellis.
Cisco scored runs in the top of the second inning, three in the fourth inning and five runs in the top of the fifth inning to lead 12-1.
The Bucks final run came in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Mykal Abila scored the Bucks final run, but the game would be called due to the 10-run rule.
McLane and Ellis led the Bucks’ batting with one RBI each.
The Bucks competed in the Eastland Tournament Feb. 27- Mar. 1 where they went 2-1.
The Bucks defeated Ranger 10-0 in their first game.
Omar Aguilar and McLane each had two RBI’s in the game.
Breckenridge lost their second game to Cisco 9-0.
Ellis led the way for the Bucks with three hits.
In the final game of the tournament, the Bucks defeated district foe Comanche 15-0.
The Bucks who led 3-0 heading into the fourth inning scored eight runs in the fourth to put the game out of reach for Comanche.
Breckenridge added four runs in the top of the fifth inning to win 15-0.
Parker Landon pitched three innings and was credited the win.
In three innings, Landon gave up five hits,  had three strikeouts and one walk.


The Bucks will play Eastland Tuesday, Mar. 11 at 1p.m. The JV will follow at 3:30 p.m.
