Being given the chance to lace up the sneakers and dust off the football and baseball cleats to play one more time is something most high school seniors can only dream about.

For six BHS graduates that dream became a reality over the course of three days with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) All-Star games.

Hanna Singleton, Rigo Gallegos and Caleb Spoon took part in the FCA basketball games held Thursday, June 12, in Brownwood as members of the North All-Stars.

Singleton scored four points in the North’s 63-44 win.

Gallegos and Spoon played on the North All-Stars team.

The North was defeated by the South All-Stars who was coached by new Buckaroo Head Basketball Coach Josh Alcorn, 79-66.

Spoon scored 11 points in the game, while Gallegos had four points.

Landre Griffin was a member of the North All-Stars Volleyball team that swept the South in straight sets.
Griffin recorded nine digs, six kills and two aces in the match.

Eli McLane went two-for-three with two singles to help the North All-Stars win 3-2 over the South in the FCA Baseball game.

Nick Bernal was a member of the North All-Stars Football team that defeated the South 14-11.
