The Governor was joined via videoconference by Janie Barrera, President, and CEO of LiftFund, and John Waldron, President, and Chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs.

The loans will be made through the U.S. Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program and businesses will also get the chance to connect with local experts and support systems.

Featured speakers will include the U.S. Small Business Administration and area Small Business Development Centers.

The event is in partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission, Greater San Marcos Partnership, Greater Waco Chamber and Kerr Economic Development Corporation.
