Breckenridge City Commission pins dedicated employees

Business talk was not the highlight of Tuesday's City Commission meeting. Breckenridge department heads took the time to individuality congratulate each employee that has now gained a minimum of five years with the City of Breckenridge.

The first honoree has dedicated himself to the city's cemetery for twenty years, John Trigg was honored by Stacey Harrison. Trigg is the one responsible for the grounds being properly maintained to honor the loved ones memories and their families.

Fire Chief Calvin Chaney spoke about the three firemen receiving pins for the time spent with BFD. Sr. Captain Justin Reed was given a pin to honor this ten-year stretch he has been back with BFD. Reed has a combined history of sixteen years with the fire department. Chaney spoke on Reed saying," he is the man I depend on to keep our men safe when I am away.”
