Texas Association of School Board Executive Search Services was awarded the Breckenridge ISD Superintendent search contract and officially presented their timeline of events at the BISD Board meeting.

Butch Felkner of TASB/ESS spoke to the board about the timeline and calendar for the BISD Superintendent search. He stated that one of the first things the board and TASB will do is hold a live meeting along with a survey for people to put their input in for Superintendent search. 

The board agreed to set the deadline to apply for the position on Feb. 18. They stated several critical dates are Feb. 26 as each board member will select 6-10 of their favorite candidates to be listed out. As a board, they will need to narrow the list down to 6-8 candidates to bring in for an interview.
