• Lakeside Baptist Church, 108 CR 221, host its Fall Revival at 6:30 p.m. each day. Evangelist is Danny Jackson with music by Donald Webster.

Saturday, Oct. 6

• Johnny Bates Memorial Scholarship Scramble is set at the Breckenridge Country Club located at 4111 W. Walker St. This event had to be rescheduled from its original September date due to rain. This will be an 18-hole scramble. Entry fee is $100 per two-person teams. Lunch will be provided and all participants will receive an event golf towel. Tee times will be at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Funds that are raised through the sponsors will be given as scholarships to the Breckenridge High School Class of 2019. There will be a 100 percent payout, as well as door prizes and closest-tothe-pin and longest drive contests. Sunday, Oct. 7

• The National Theatre in Graham is showing “The Incredibles” at 2 p.m. Admission for children is $3 and adults is $5. Concessions will be available for purchase. For questions and inquiries, contact Hallee at 254-522-5436.

Saturday, Oct. 27

• Stephens County Health Fair will be held from 7 to 11 a.m at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center at 301 S. Rose street. There will be more than 40 Health-related vendors at the event. There will also be free lab tests and $15 flu shots. For more information call 254-559-2295

Saturday, Nov. 10

• The Stephens County Humane Society is hosting its annual Wags & Whiskers 5k and Furry Fun Run. All proceeds will go to the humane society. The event starts at 8:30 with a staggered racing schedule by age. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to participate with their human. To be guaranteed a t-shirt, participants must be registered by Oct. 13. The cost is anywhere from $15 to $30 depending on age. Race day registration will be an additional $5.
