Breckenridge Craft Show Saturday

It is time again for the annual Breckenridge Craft Show. The show has been the weekend before Thanksgiving since the early 1980s. It will be held at the First Methodist Church Christian Center at 419 West Walker in Breckenridge. The first show runs from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 19. 

The Breckenridge Elks will be cooking in the kitchen this year with proceeds going for handicap children to go to camp in the summer. They will also have baked goods. Some of the vendors from Breckenridge are Margarete and Dean Ables with hand quilted items including quilts, place mats, baby bibs, throws and more. They also have leather craft. 

Karen Chakerian with James has jellies, relish, homemade bread, rolls and candy. Dana Boggs with handmade one of a kind leather purses, billfolds, mens leather shaving bags and Texas Lone Star smoke (mesquite bean) made for grilling. Wayne Hurford with wood work, crosses, handmade items, handmade doll clothes and furniture. Bernadette Littlefield with stained glass, wood crafts and clocks. Paula Grisson and Kay Meadows with quilts and crocheted items. Hollis McClane with wood turned items, toothpick holders, mystery banks, bowls and ring holders. From Cisco is Corenne McBride and Daisy Russell with soaps, jams, pickles, dreamcatchers and candles. Danny Hutto with woodworking casket, tables and more. From Comanche is Cheryle L.Williams with carved goods eggs along with decopage or painted eggs. Lois Covey from Graham with baked goods and a lot of Christmas items.
