Breckenridge High School National Honors Society photos
Breckenridge High School had 16 students inducted into the National Honor Society on Friday, Oct. 5, at the Bailey Auditorium. Local chapter officers, including President Morgan Hash, Vice President Zachary Smith, Secretary Carly Tennison and Treasurer Annakate Rodgers implemented the candle lighting ceremony, along with repeating the four pillars of the National Honor Society, which are service, leadership, character, and scholarship.
The newest members of the Breckenridge High School National Honor Society are Owen Woodward, Hannah Valdez, Madison Stanley, Diego Arellano, Liberty Blades, Kaitlyn Crook, Rolando Gallegos, Tristen Garcia, Mia Hughins, Calista Lambert, McKenly Roberts, Anna Reaugh, Christopher Otts, Aaliyah Lawson, Axel Puebla and Kolton Myers.
Current members of BHS in the National Honor Society are Griffin Flournoy, Morgan Hash, Yvette Galan, Baylee Young, Kelton Wylie, Zachary Smith, AnnaKate Rodgers, Carly Tennison, Jaynae Mendez, Blake Lee and Samantha Heatley.
National Honor Society is the premier organization that was established to recognize scholastically outstanding high school students. It is more than just making it on the honor roll. NHS membership not only recognizes students on their accomplishments but also challenges them to develop further as they become actively involved in other school activities and community service. Congratulations to the newest inductees.
