Lake Shore Loop celebrates

Wed, 12/23/2020 - 5:00 am

The residents of Lake Shore Estates got organized to have their first Christmas Parade to go around the Lake Shore Loop to entertain residents and themselves. The organizer was Allison Bassler who had a few participants down with COVID, but everyone who participated had a grand time.

There were several golf carts, a go-cart, two Polaris Rangers, a 1932 Ford with a rumble seat and a boat pulled by a truck with the Lechner boys aboard.

This is the same group who staged a Fourth of July parade this year and plan to make both annual events each year. Some are already planning to hit the Christmas decoration markdowns after Christmas to be better prepared for next year.

Some of the participants included Bill and Allison Bassler, the Morehart bunch with Jaclyn and Micah Morehart and their two boys, Lacey Loop, Wayne and Linda Justus, the go-cart folks and the owner and his wife of the 1932 Ford.
