Nancy Taylor: Starting a new chapter in life

Wed, 11/11/2020 - 5:00 am

Nancy Taylor retired from the Law Enforcement Center after a total of 29 years. She served Stephens County as an Adult Probation Officer for 25 years and then was the Office Manager for the Stephens County Sheriff’s office during the last four years.

Taylor is beginning a whole new adventure with a move to the far northeastern coast of Florida to be closer to her daughter, Casey.

Taylor said, “She intended to hit the sandy beach with a good book.” She was able to sell her house very quickly to a local young couple. As a result, Taylor was able to make the move and begin her new adventure.

The packed room for her retirement party Friday, Nov. 6, demonstrated how much Taylor is respected and loved by fellow Law Enforcement people from all levels of the Stephens County Law Enforcement community.
