Reception held, honors given for BFAC juried art show

The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center was the site of a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 21, for the 27th annual Juried Art Show.

The works of 107 artists from 26 states and Canada were chosen from more than 200 entries to appear in this year's show by juror Beverley Bowen. Bowen, from Trophy Club, is an accomplished professional artist, a signature member of the Outdoor Painters Society, the Southwestern Watercolor Society and is also a member of the Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society and the American Watercolor Society. 

The works of art are on display through Aug. 31 in the Main and East Galleries of the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center, located at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. The center is open Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and closed Saturday-Monday.
