Strong’s celebrate 50th Anniversary

Richard and Donna Strong will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, August 1. The two married in 1970 and together have three children (Christina Duggan, Boyce Strong, and Karin Boggs); eight grandchildren (Erica, Shelby, Anissa, Draven, Tobias, Oliver, Kinleigh, Berkley) and one great-grandchild (Trace). Cramer’s celebrate 65th wedding anniversary

Breckenridge residents Jerry and Alvis Cramer celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on July 9th. The couple were married in Lovington, NM. Together they have four children; Jerry, Jr. (Terri), Ann Adair, Kay Loftin (Scott) and Cindy Bowman (Dave). The Cramer’s also have 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. They are long time members of St Paul United Methodist Church. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the anniversary celebration will be scheduled for a later date.

Golf Cart Parade for 4th of July celebration

The folks at Lakeshore Estates, in the Village Inn area, knew how to celebrate the fourth of July in fine fashion. Jaclyn Morehart got the idea from her mother’s home town of Carthage that also has a lake community. So, Jaclyn got the ball rolling and notified neighbors at Lake Shore Estates to plan for 7 p.m. and decorate their golf carts or whatever they chose to ride in for the parade.
