Nancy Taylor retired from the Law Enforcement Center after a total of 29 years. She served Stephens County as an Adult Probation Officer for 25 years and then was the Office Manager for the Stephens County Sheriff’s office during the last four years.
The Rotary Club of Breckenridge was joined by Roger Paschal, District Governor of District 5790, during the Tuesday, November 3, weekly meeting.
Wednesday, Nov. 11 - Veteran’s Day celebration at 9 a.m. in the Breckenridge Athletic and Fine Arts Facility - All Veterans and families are invited. Veterans will be escorted in on the main floor. Families may be seated in bleachers among students from Breckenridge ISD.
Ridge Nutrition held a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Monday, Oct. 26 to offcially open their doors to the public. Owner, Kim Sewell, of Mineral Wells cut the ribbon which was held by two of her employees, Tai Clague on the right and Whitney Weed on the left, while a third employee, Niesha Price took care of customers. Noah Gray represented Caddo Volunteer Fire Dept. received a check for $1750 as part of a Beacon Grant from the Elks National Foundation presented by the local Elks #1480. He received the check from the Exalted Ruler Melinda Flournoy.
