30 head of cattle stolen in nearby ranch

A recent theft of 30 head of beef cattle were reported stolen from a ranch in northwest Stephens County.

County Sheriff Kevin Roach said, “We received the report last week. This is a joint investigation with the Southwest Texas Cattle Raisers Association with the help of Ranger John Bradshaw.”

According to the press release the cattle are described as approximately seven months of age and weigh between 400 and 500 pounds. The cattle are a mixture of both heifers and steers, solid colored and are either black, white, or red.

The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office & Stephens County TX Crime Stoppers are seeking any information that will lead to the location of the cattle, and/or the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s).
