Gas update

Gas prices last week fell 7.7 cents, bringing the statewide average to $2.34 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s survey. This compares with the national average, which fell 5.6 cents, bringing prices down to $2.62 per gallon. These prices compare with this time last month, where gas prices are lower both state and nationally, but higher than they were a year ago. In Texas prices are 29.5 cents higher and nationally they are 7.5 cents lower.

Weather update

Weather this past week was mild and dry. During the day the temperatures stayed in the 60s and 70s, but dropped to the 40s and sometimes 30s at night and in the mornings. We can expect more of that this week, with temperatures getting higher as the week goes on. As it stands currently, no rain is expected in the forecast.
