Gas

Gas prices in Texas fell a little less than four cents this past week, bringing average prices down to $2.05 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey. This compares with national prices, which fell about 5.5 cents and brought average gas totals to $2.36 per gallon across the country. Compared with this time last year, gas prices are 14 cents lower statewide and almost 5.7 cents lower nationwide. In the last month, prices have dropped almost 30 cents statewide and a little more than 26 cents nationwide.

Gas prices are expected to continue to fall, with prices in all 50 states dropping and continuing a drop of 53 cents over the last two months, which is one of the largest seasonal declines seen, according to Gas-Buddy.
