BISD to partner with Workforce Solutions to help better prepare students for careers

Breckenridge Independent School District is teaming up with the Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas, as well as a number of other school districts in the area for a pilot program that will aim to prepare students for the workforce.

The program includes an $800,000 grant, which will be used to hire five new faculty members, who will oversee the program across all 13 districts. It should be noted BISD is not directly receiving this grant, and the five faculty members will not work directly for the district.
