BPD Arrests

Monday, Dec. 17

Robert Lee Young, 37, was arrested by Officer Kirby Brown on a Denton County warrant for sexual abuse of a child (continuous) victim under 14 and a warrant for sexual assault of a child. No bond was issued. He was booked into the Stephens County Jail without incident.

Wednesday, Dec. 19

Aurelia Joyce Couey, 54, was arrested by Officer Kirby Brown on a warrant for DUI (second conviction). The bond set at $1,500. The suspect was transported to the Stephens County Jail without incident.

Thursday, Dec. 20

Chance Swan, 23, was arrested by Officer Brian McBride for an outstanding Stephens County warrant. He was booked into the Stephens County Jail without incident.

Monday, Dec. 24

Michael Ray Funderburg, 56, was arrested on site by Officer Justin Rose for public intoxication.
