Breckenridge High School was burglarized early Thursday morning by two individuals who at this time have not been identified, according to officials from the school district.

The two individuals broke into the cafeteria and the band hall and stole several items, with each individual carrying a backpack. At this time, Superintendent Tim Seymore said the district is not disclosing what items were stolen, but said the items could fit into the backpacks of the culprits.

The break-in occurred around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning, according to security camera footage posted by Seymore on his Facebook page. The footage consists of two separate cameras, one of which depicts the two individuals walking outside the school. The other shows them inside the cafeteria.

Seymore said they are still gathering estimates for the damages done and the items stolen. He added the damages will most likely be a couple thousand dollars.

On his Facebook post, Seymore said he is offering $500 to the first person who is able to provide information that will lead to the arrest and indictment of the two individuals.

“These two individuals caused a great deal of damage at the (high) school last night,” Seymore stated on Facebook. “Please contact me if you have any information.”
