As part of their celebration of Veterans Day, which the BJH STUCO did in conjunction with BHS STUCO at the Breckenridge Athletics and Fine Arts Facility Nov. 15, junior high students had a door decorating competition.
The winners of the contest included Coach Charla Valenzuela’s door with Regan Armstrong and Callie Shirley, Amanda Roberson’s door with MagdaLynn Paul and Callie Shirley, the CEI room of Coach Chris Roberson with students Preslea Dabney and Haylie Mendoza and the door of Chelsea Escalon with Monsey Mendoza and Avery Rogers.
To pull that all together, Coach Kim Walker did a bulletin board in the main hallway downstairs that honored veterans from all five of the military services: the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marines and the U. S. Coast Guard.
